The orientation of this program is to equip the students with academic resources and give them the opportunity to grow personally in order to better serve the church. These studies lead to a nationally accredited degree.
The program consists of 10 sequential semesters, each one lasting four months. The first two semesters are of the general studies. The applicants that have taken those courses in a college level can validate them. The following four semesters belong to the Diploma of Theology and the last four belong to the Bachelor’s of Theology.
Each student of this program does professional training at their local church, and it is a requirement to have satisfactory go through this training. Students transferring from other compatible programs are accepted and courses can be validated by the established academic statutes prior an evaluation. All students of this program have to go through the normal process of admissions and registration and be submissive to the academic statutes.
For the nationally accredited degree of Professional in Theology it is required to study the complete program. Additionally, it is mandatory to fulfill the regular requirements and to register all the courses taken in the Ministry of Education. The Diploma of Theology from the seminary is more flexible and can be taken on a slower pace. Under this modality the grades don’t need to be registered at the Ministry of Education. The third modality is that of a Free Student, and it allows the students to freely pick the classes they are interested in. For the completion of each course they receive a grade but the Free Students don’t graduate. |
